SCHOOL holidays have been great fun … and hard work for the cast and crew of Misfit Theatre, and just plain fun for more than 50 children who got up to all sorts of activities at the Upper Yarra Community House school holiday program.
Misfit Theatre performed their gothic twist on Peter Pan with performances of Never Neverland at Upwey and Healesville in a lead up to performances at Warburton on 2, 3 and 4 May.
The show, another professional performance by the valley’s youth, explores issues that matter to young people in an entertaining and relevant way.
At the Yarra Junction and Launching Place, UYCH kids got lots of hands-on action with wildlife and planting days, a visit to Ben’s Shed and Mexican and Footy days included in an exhausting two weeks of fun.
Parents might want to put this date in their diary … Saturday 29 June – more school holidays.
