Family Bird Walk

Healesville Environment Watch Inc is holding a family bird walk on Saturday 4 May from 9.30am to 11.30am. BYO binoculars are encouraged but not essential. A $5 donation to HEWI includes morning tea. VIEW lunch

Yarra Valley VIEW Club Lunch is on Tuesday 28 May at Yering Meadows Golf Club at 12 noon. Bookings essential. Call Wendy: 0438 625 556.

Probus

The Healesville Ladies Probus Club meets every third Friday of the month at 10am in the Senior Citizens Hall. Guests can enjoy making new friends who will enrich their life in retirement. No fund-raising is involved and new members will be made very welcome. Contact secretary Nancy Closter on 5962 3713.

Bird watching

Develop bird observing skills while volunteering to monitor the critically-endangered helmeted honeyeater. No previous experience is needed. An induction program starts in May. Good general fitness is required. This is a year-round role, out in the bush in all types of weather. Those who can commit to one morning each month should email Sue: hehofeeder@gmail.com.
