Worming way into waste disposal

A single chamber non-mechanical system, it uses Mother Nature’s ingenuity to achieve the ultimate environmentally-friendly outcome.
“We use worms to process all the waste from households – both new and existing, restaurants, function centres, schools, caravan parks, camping grounds, golf clubs, motels and in various other situations,” said company spokeswoman Ev Duke.
“This waste includes sewage, waste water, plus all organic garbage including kitchen waste, paper, cardboard, weeds and any other organic matter.
“Recyclable items such as plastics, bottles and cans require disposal off-site,” she explained.
The Worm Farm Waste System has been designed to function in the same way Mother Nature uses worms on rainforest floors.
“The worms process all solids which leave the system as worm castings when the liquid passes through.
“The end result is liquid fertiliser, a valuable resource for your garden,” Ms Duke said.
“There is no smell, no maintenance, no service contracts and it never requires de-sludging,” she said.
With the A & A Worm Farm Waste System, all waste is kept on-site and reused 100 per cent in the garden.
The system enables everyone to take an environmentally-responsible stand by not contributing to the huge volume of unnecessary waste which goes into landfills.
A & A Worm Farm Systems can convert existing smelly septics or treatment plants into a worm-farm waste system.
They will take care of all permit applications with the local council, design a site-specific system and take care of the installation.
“We do not use sub-contractors, only our own trained, accredited, licensed installers,” Mrs Duke said.
