Throngs of movie buffs headed out to the Warburton Film Festival over the weekend. From Friday night through to Sunday, the action-packed film schedule at the Warburton arts centre kept punters entertained, via an airing of internationally coveted movies and lesser-known local pearls. This year, eight highly acclaimed contemporary feature films will be screened, with a special tribute given to great Australian film director, Paul Cox. Cox was a long-time patron of the Yarra Ranges Film Society and Warburton Film Festival, and sadly passed away last year. ‘Mail’ photographer Greg Carrick was on-hand to capture all the action and excitement of the festival.
