Eastern Health hosted a community forum at The Memo is Healesville on Raising Resilient Kids with the announcement of the winners of the Respectful Relationships Art Competition.

The winners included Ian Whitford of Steels Creek, Ashlyn Hermansen, Kobi Rostron and Talei Whiteside of Upper Yarra Secondary College, Archie Griffiths of Badger Creek Primary School and Meisha Lee-Hooper of Gladysdale Primary School.

Healesville Rotary Club contributed a total of $1200 in prize money for the winners who created art work that successfully embodied healthy and respectful relationships.

Community service director Laurie Webb from Healesville Rotary Club awarded the artists in front of over 200 members of the community and the winning artworks were on display throughout the night.

Eastern Health’s health promotion team has been working across the Yarra Valley to increase the capacity for all schools to encourage and promote respectful relationships.
