Second flood warning for Yarra Ranges

Following an initial warning last Thursday 18 August, a second minor flood warning has been issued for Millgrove through to Coldstream.

The level of the Yarra River at Coldstream is currently steady at 4.06 metres, exceeding the Minor Flood Level (4 metres).

The Coldstream Weather Station is forecasting a possible 20 to 25 mm on Monday 22 August, with a very high (95 per cent) chance of rain from late in the morning.

This could see floods level rise again.

Residents are reminded to be prepared to act if their situation changes, and stay informed by listening to emergency broadcasters and monitoring warnings.
