Money raised in Healesville is saving lives in Kenya.

Q: What local service organisation is behind the life-saving Milking Cow and Goat Project for Africa?
A: Healeville Rotary.
Q: What entertaining and creative young people last year hosted a hugely successful trivia night in Healesville to support that project?
A: Healesville High School’s senior VCAL students.
You won’t get any points for knowing the answers to these not-so-trivial questions, but you will get a great night of entertainment and fun, and an opportunity to help one of Healesville Rotary’s long-running humanitarian projects, the Milking Cow and Goat Project, if you go along to the 2017 Rotary Club of Healesville Trivia Night.
The inaugural event was a huge hit last year when the school’s senior VCAL students took the reins to deliver a fantastic community event with great trivia, raffles, games and live auctions.
All funds raised will go to Rotary’s Milking Cow and Goat Project which, under the leadership of Rotarian Wilma Best, has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to purchase cows and goats for some of the most impoverished villages in Kenya.
The 2017 Trivia Night will be held on Thursday, 10 August at the Darron Honey Centre in Healesville. Entry is $10 per person with tables of up to 10 people. BYO food and drinks.
