Ready for racing

The Alexandra Speedway season begins on Saturday 2 March.

Healesville’s Cameron Pearson will be competing in late model sedan racing against many competitors, including Eildon brothers Chevy and Brock Edwards.

Pearson is currently ranked second in Australia for late model sedan racing.

James Powell will also be defending his Goulburn Oven Sedan Victoria title.

The Alexandra Speedway club is holding an appreciation night to thank its supporters for their contributions to renovations to the facility including track re-surfacing and re-shaping, concrete fence rebuild, catch fence rebuild and pit enclosure viewing area works.

Local competitors in the Sports Sedans, Standard Saloons, Ladies Standard Saloons, Junior Sedans Victorian Open and National Junior Sedans classes will compete in events recognising the work that’s been done around the venue.
