Keen tennis players will have the opportunity to play on the new courts at Seville Tennis Club at the official opening on Saturday March 16th.

The six new fully resurfaced courts, fencing and lighting will enable the club to expand its training and competition programs, particularly for young people in the Yarra Valley.

Construction on the site started back in July 2018 and it has been an exciting development for the clubs members to watch it evolve and transform.

The event starts at 12.15pm when the Shire Major along with club officials will declare the courts open.

Players will then take to the courts with a fun round robin comp and a section one semi-final.

A barbecue lunch will also be provided and everyone is welcome to stay and join in.

The event will be attended by local council, a Victorian Tennis representative, and many past and present Seville Tennis Club members.

The club is run by a small group of hardworking volunteers who are thrilled to be hosting the day.
