Team 2 played Donvale at Donvale and after taking an excursion on the bus, we finally got there and showed Donvale that getting a little lost did not affect our bowling in anyway defeating them 77- 36

Mike Adams, Rita Featherstone, Ian Milgate, John Howard 21 – 14
Len Cossons, Gerry Gommers, Glenda Graeme, Karl Tok 30 – 6
Last game for Tuesday Pennant next week, Team 1 play Montmorency away and Team 2 play Heatherdale at home so good luck to both teams.
Saturday’s Pennant team had their last match for the season at home against Ringwood, which was a must-win to try and stay in 2nd division next season. It was a drizzly day with Ringwood pumped up at the start, but only after a few
ends it was clear that Healesville was out to play and out to win finally beating Ringwood 96 – 56 with all 4 rinks up. It was a great effort by Healesville and the celebrations rolled on into the night.
Mark Hoffman, Mark Ward, Rita Featherstone, Brad Chandler 17 – 14
Allan Phillips, Colin Lowe, Mick Featherstone, Steve Bulled 28 – 12
Adrian Beales, John Clark, Bob Brown, James Beales 30 – 19
Steve Graham, Chris Boland, Robyn Turville, Chris Hawting 28 – 12
Next season we would like to have a second team for Saturday, but we are about 5 players short of making up the second side, so if you are thinking that you would like to take up Bowls, please give the club a call and we would be
only too happy to make you welcome. So as you don’;t get chucked in the deep end we will provide coaching, A set of bowls to start off with, a free uniform, half-price membership and lots of help from our top bowlers. It truly is a great sport to be involved in.
