Clubs from Outer East Football Netball (OEFN) and the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL) hosted their first practice matches on Saturday 5 March, with the first round of the season now less than a month away.

Healesville FNC’s Don Road Sporting Complex saw Healesville take on Kilsyth in the first of a spate of upcoming footy, with TAC Cup matches being held there as well as Healesville practice matches against Coldstream and Lilydale.

Coldstream also had their first run out, with the Under 19’s prevailing in the wet over Seville, before the combined seniors and reserves men’s side fell three points short in a six-quarter match.

Yarra Glen and Kinglake also battled it out at the Kinglake ground and Warburton took on Chirnside Park, who alongside Silvan will also play Yarra Glen over the coming weeks.
