Returning to pennant bowls after a break for the Victorian Open, Yarra Glen had four father and son combinations in the Division 1 side, making up 9 of the 16 players taking on Warburton on Saturday 26 November.
Chris Leonard played his first game in the side alongside father Peter.
Skip Matty O’Brien had his father Gerald as his second.
Adrian and father Rod Bates, along with Ben and Beau Simmons playing with Dad Mark Simmons made up the unique combination.
The combination proved to be a winning one, with Yarra Glen winning overall against Warburton 104 to 64.
