Junior cricketers in the RDCA competition are being told to hold tight as this morning’s heavy rain may impact tonight’s T20 fixtures.

The RDCA has issued a statement declaaring that ‘whilst there has been some good rain this morning’, they believe grounds will be in a good enough state to play.

“We understand the forecast is for more rain this afternoon with possible thunderstorms,” a post on the ‘Ringwood and District Cricket Association’ Faceboook page reads.

“However we think it is a bit early to make a call in regards to abandoning games tonight in case these storm don’t eventuate,”

“Therefore we proposed to hold off and have a further review at around 2pm this afternoon, a further communication will be distributed after that time.”
