POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man at Yarra Glen.
A 47-year-old Yarra Glen man was found dead by a friend at around noon on Wednesday, 4 October.
Police believe the deceased man was chopping down a tree at the time of his death. Criminal Investigation Unit detectives together with the Homicide Squad and the Crime Scene Unit attended the scene. A spokeswoman from Victoria Police said the death did not appear to be suspicious and that police would prepare a report for the Coroner.
