-New ambulance station training facilities in Lilydale, MICA response unit – $5.1 million completion in first term.
-Lilydale bypass – $40 million completed in first term.

-Traffic control signals at the Maroondah Highway and Melba Highway intersection – $1.5 million.
-Funding for capital works upgrade at Mt Evelyn Primary School.
-Lilydale Football Club lighting project – $36,000.

-Upgrade grant for Emerald Primary School to improve various facilities as decided by the school council – $150,000 by early 2007.
-Grant to assist Gemco Performing Art Complex complete a major redevelopment – $200,000 by 2008.
-Improved Ambulance services by upgrading Belgrave and Healesville ambulance stations to dedicated 24 hour facilities and providing a new dedicated MICA paramedic service by mid 2007.
-Purchase of a dedicated patient transfer bus for Fernlea House palliative care centre – $60,000 by early 2007.
-Relocation of Mountain District Radio Station (3MDR) into new premises – $50,000 by 2008.
-Connect Warburton to the natural gas network and explore extending the natural gas network to towns already connected by 2007-08.
-Night Rider bus service to Warburton to be trialled for 12 months by mid 2007.
-Redevelopment of Warburton CFA station – $1.6m by end on 2007.
-Belgrave road deviation project including township development study – $22.5 million.

-GEMCO performing arts centre – $200,000.
-SEAL program for Emerald Secondary College.
-Traffic lights at intersection of Lysterfield Road and Wellington Road – $1.3 million.
-New CFA stations at Warburton and Reefton – $2 million.
-Acquisition and development of Cardinia Creek parklands – $10 million.
-Open the O’Shannassy Aqueduct walking and cycling trail at Warburton – $800,000.
-Build a trail from Belgrave Station to the Lysterfield Park network of trails to make this park more accessible from the north.
-Community garden for Cardinia Reservoir.
-Helmeted honeyeater recovery program – $400,000.
-Expanded bus services on Routes 695 (Belgrave-Gembrook) and 840 (Fountain Gate-Berwick).
