VICTORIAN ‘seniors’ are being given plenty of warning.
They are being advised to keep the 10 days from 5 to 14 October free.
The Victorian Seniors Festival, from 7 to 14 October, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and Lisa Neville, Minister for Aged Care, is promising a memorable program of free and low-cost events, forums and activities across the state.
Free public transport will be available in conjunction with the State Government’s week of activities.
The Shire of Yarra Ranges will lead into Seniors Week with a Seniors Expo on Friday, 5 October.
The expo will whet the appetite for Yarra Ranges seniors and provide a tasty entree to the week ahead.
Look for the Victorian Seniors Festival program booklet and information on the shire’s Seniors Expo around August/September.
Festival marks silver jubilee
