WARBURTON resident Terry Palmer is offering an unusual reward for the return of a go-cart stolen on Saturday night.
Two carts were stolen but one, a child’s cart, was found in the street by some young people and returned to Mr Palmer.
Mr Palmer said a witness has reported seeing the other cart, a grey Yamaha KT100J which has blue markings and a number plate ‘79’, on the back of a blue tray-body Falcon with driving lights on a bar behind the cabin.
“I’ve offered to take the kids out who found the cart for a free day of go-carting, but I need the big one to be able to do it,” Mr Palmer said.
The carts are used for a program run by Mr Palmer, which offers free go-carting days for young people.
Anyone with information can phone Warburton Police on 5966 2006 or Mr Palmer on 0427 707 500.
