RESIDENTS are reminded to register their parties with police.
As summer approaches, Yarra Junction police said registering parties helped to reduce the risk of gatherings getting out of control. Registering parties helps police respond quickly to any problems.
Police are asking residents to register parties at least two weeks in advance.
Parties can be registered by completing a Partysafe registration form, available from Yarra Junction and Warburton Police Stations.
The forms can also be downloaded from the Victoria Police website at www.police.vic.gov.au. Follow the links from Community Safety.
