THE Shire of Yarra Ranges will host a public forum on the proposed Sugarloaf Interconector Pipeline either later this month, or early in February.
Responding to a call from Dixons Creek farmers Lyn and Brian Mullens for a meeting they say will be the first public meeting on the matter, mayor Tim Heenan has set the ball rolling.
Mrs Mullens said previous meetings had been called by the stakeholders in the project to simply hand out information.
A date for the meeting is expected to be set this week. For further information contact Lyn Margery at the Shire of Yarra Ranges on 9294 6112.
