POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a driver was detected travelling more than 100 kilometres per hour over the speed limit in Seville on Friday.
A Yarra Ranges Highway Patrol officer noticed a black ute disobey traffic signals in Bell Street about 8.50am.
As the marked police vehicle performed a U-turn to give chase, the ute accelerated along the Warburton Highway and turned into Quayle Road.
Police detected the ute, which had oversized mag wheels and business advertising on the back windows and driver’s door, travelling at 184 kilometres per hour in an 80 kilometre zone.
