‘Op’ shops tops

WHAT a great article on the Adcare Opportunity Shop, telling of sharing their ‘profits’ between several Yarra Valley schools.
I thought it was a terrific way to highlight the good that ‘op’ shops can achieve in our local community.
So many people would have no idea of the good these hard-working volunteers are achieving through their many hours of washing, sorting and presenting pre-used goods to be sold in their shops.
Many people can benefit with the odd bargain and then to read that our schools are also the recipients of their generosity is just great to see.
This is just one of many ways that everyone can contribute to our community.
Keep supporting our opportunity shops with your good used items.
