HUNDREDS of lanterns were lit around Lillydale Lake for a walk that lifted the many hearts affected by blood cancer.
The Light the Night walk, held on Friday 2 October, aimed at raising funds for much-needed research and supports groups for those affected.
Mail photographer Greg Carrick took some amazing pictures of the events.
A sea of three different coloured lanterns signified individual meanings:
Gold: Remembering a loved one.
White: For your own blood cancer journey.
Blue: To show your support.
