THE Rotary Club of Healesville is sponsoring an art show featuring paintings by students of Trevor Opray.
Trevor, a well-known artist who has worked in the local area for many years, paints in a wide range of mediums including oil, watercolour, and oil and pastel.
His students will have an opportunity to exhibit their work for the first time at the exhibition, which will be held at the Lions Club Hall in Lilydale Road, Healesville on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November.
All the works will be on sale.
Rotary members will serve tea and coffee, and there will be a wine tasting as well.
Members have also been busy selling raffle tickets over recent weeks for a painting donated by Mr Opray, valued at $2000. Tickets will also be available over the weekend, with the raffle draw taking place at 4pm on the Sunday.
All proceeds from the event will go to support local community projects.
