Former Knox little athletes, including the 1984 under 10 girls’ 4 X 200 metres state relay team, will reunite for the centre’s 40th anniversary.

FORMER Knox little athletes, parents and officials are invited to celebrate the centre’s 40th anniversary with an afternoon of family fun.
Guests will include former Knox little athlete and Australian sprinter Aaron Rouge-Serret, former St Kilda footballer Jason Heatley and Melbourne Vixens netball star Ash Howard.
A Swinburne University student-produced DVD documenting the centre’s history, ‘’Moments in Time’’, will be screened, and registered athletes will receive a limited-edition 40th anniversary Knox Centre medallion.
The day will feature a Wantirna Lions Club BBQ, Royal Children’s Hospital Relaython fundraiser, food, drink, games and, of course, a birthday cake. Four hours of festivities will start at 11am on Saturday 22 November at Knox Athletics Facility in Bunjil Way, Knoxfield.
