LACHLAN Sweetman-Wood is going for gold.
The Cockatoo sprinter has again proven himself on the track, yesterday (Monday) going head-to-head with sprinters at the state championships in Bendigo.
Lachlan is no stranger to competition; in the past 12 months he has won four gold medals at regional and state championships.
Last month, he had victories in both the 100 and 200 metres.
Lachlan dreams of one day representing Australia, but for now is content to go for gold at the state titles.
