Girls don Anzac jumpers

By Kath Gannaway

Coldstream Junior Football Club’s girls donned special Anzac jumpers for their annual commemoration match against Lilydale on Sunday. The girls stood shoulder to shoulder ‘Lest We Forget’ for a brief service delivered by Healesville RSL before storming the ground for a spectacular game.
With numbers down for the Coldstream girls, their Lilydale opponents displayed the true spirit of mateship pulling on the specially badged jumpers to make for an entertaining and competitive game.
