A gig at the ‘Termi’, theTerminus Hotel in Healesville is something hundreds of local and visiting rock, blues and country bands have valued over the years, but a women’s choir is something new.
On Saturday, 19 August, the Badger Creek Women’s Choir will take to the stage with a program of soul, Celtic, modern and traditional songs for their first pub gig.
The choir, now in its fifth year, is a 25-member group of women of all ages who meet at Badger Creek Primary School to sing, and laugh, and share the joy of music.
They have played at many local venues and events including the Healesville Music Festival and Carols by Candlight.
On the 19th, at the Termi, the gorgeous singing gals will rock the house with some cool musicians including Angus Legg, Rohan Anderson and Jared Becker.
From Patti Smith to Taylor Swift and Africa to Ireland, leader Jenny Legg said they were looking forward to delivering a night to enjoy and remember – and entry is free.
Apart from the fabulous music, it will be an ordinary night at the Terminus, food and drinks available. Dinner bookings are recommended.
