Heartfelt thanks

DEAR voters and friends,
I wish to thank all those who supported me in the recent council elections for Ryrie Ward.
The results were:

Les King 1576
Sam Halim 1232
Dave Hill 731
Without a clear majority, the preferences game really came into play and I lost by 194 votes.
I was shown tremendous support from a wide range in our community which has given me great strength and satisfaction and I thank you wholeheartedly.
I urge all those people who called me with various issues and concerns to contact Jeanette McRae, the new councillor for Ryrie, to seek her assistance.
