Cross country trophy retained

Yarra Ranges Athletics athletes competed en mass at the Knox Cross Country Open Day.

Perfect conditions at Norton Park set the scene for some excellent cross country racing and performances.

Athletes were not only competing for themselves, but also for team points in their respective grade and overall points fro the club.

Yarra Ranges Athletics generated enough points to retain the trophy for a fifth consecutive year.

Congratulations to all who competed and supported so well.

Next stop is at Morrison Reserve; see you at 8.45am for warm-ups before the first race at 9am.Our senior athletes will compete in round 3 of the XCR series at Cruden Farm, Langwarrin. Anyone not yet entered has until midday on Wednsday to get registered and entered.
