Take a break from galleries

Situated 35km from Melbourne on the Maroondah Highway at Lilydale, gateway to the beautiful Yarra Valley, REDGUM Australia offers a range of dining and refreshment options through the day, the perfect accompaniment to a stroll around galleries full of beautiful art and crafts.
All-day breakfast is served from 9am daily, with eggs benedict a specialty.
The cafe also serves great Fairtrade coffee and tea by Jaspers, and matches these with famous scones, muffins and Devonshire teas.
A range of lunch specials is offered every day, including homemade soup of the day and delicious vegetarian options.
Freshly made desserts and cakes are available to round off a meal, and the cafe is armed with an array of cold drinks to quench that summer thirst.
There is also a children’s menu, playroom and mothers’ room.
Visitors have a choice of the cool, inviting outside dining area or the appealing atmosphere and artistic surroundings of the main indoor dining area.
The five large viewing rooms of the gallery house a comprehensive range of paintings, photography, woodwork, handmade sculptures, pottery, furniture, jewellery, leadlight, textiles, cards, indigenous art and hand-painted glasswork, predominantly from artists and craftspeople from the Yarra Valley.
Local, interstate or overseas visitors can choose a gift for that special someone, or just treat themselves knowing that all items are made in Australia from local materials.
Free gift and bubble wrapping is offered on all items, and gift vouchers are also available.
Ample parking is available and buses are welcome by appointment. Disabled access and facilities are also provided. The versatile gallery and cafe at REDGUM Australia, on the corner of Maroondah Highway and Victoria Road, Lilydale, is open from 9am to 5.30pm every day.
