Body found in Warburton

Police are investigating following the discovery of a woman’s body in Warburton today.

The body was located by police in bushland near Donna Buang Road around 12.40pm.

While the body is yet to be formally identified, police are investigating if it is linked to the reported disappearance of missing Warburton woman Susan Shaw.

The 67-year-old was last seen on 28 November, with police undertaking a significant search of the local area since that time.

The exact circumstances regarding the woman’s death are yet to be determined, however detectives from the Missing Persons Squad will attend the scene.
