Following a turbulent 12 months, the Yarra Valley Wellness Clinic is proud to be celebrating its first birthday. To mark the milestone, they are hosting an open day on Saturday 19 February.
Located in the heart of Seville (above Ducky’s cafe), the business is a joint venture by local health professionals, Chris Neason and Cameron Arnott. With over 20 years’ experience between them, the clinic is born out of a dream to do better to help people with pain and injuries. The clinic offers exercise physiology, remedial massage and clinical pilates.
With multiple lockdowns, COVID restrictions and ongoing isolation challenges, the pair is happy to be doing so well. “While the last 12 months have been challenging, we are super proud of what we’ve achieved and all the clients we’ve helped so far” says Chris.
With more than 15 health professionals across their Seville and Healesville clinics, the team boasts great results for people with chronic and complex pain, such as low back pain, neck pain and arthritis. As a remedial massage therapist himself, Cam believes in treating the underlying cause of the condition, rather than just the symptoms.
Alongside massage, their Clinical Pilates classes use the Pilates reformers to assist clients to regain strength and fitness. Following a thorough assessment, Chris and his team of exercise physiologists tailor the class to each individual.
“We’ve found that pilates reformers are one of the most supportive ways for people in pain to get back into exercise,” explains Chris.
The open day will be a chance for the local community and health professionals to come see the space and try out the services for free. There will be massage and reformer pilates as well as special offers only available on the day.
Due to Covid-19 safety precautions, pre-registration is required to attend the open day. To find out more, head to yvwellness.com.au
