Arsonist fears

THE Country Fire Authority (CFA) and police are appealing to Healesville residents to be vigilant after a fire was lit in bushland on the corner of Ryans Road and Robyn Parade on Friday.
Sergeant Tony Van Gorp of Healesville Police said the situation could have been much worse but for the fact CFA crews responded so quickly.
“Make no mistake, we have an arsonist operating in Healesville and that person needs to be caught,” he told 400 people at a community fire meeting on Friday night.
Anyone who observes any suspicious behaviour should take as many details as possible and phone 000 to report the incident immediately.
