THE wedding of Tanya Exton and Rick Stephens on 26 November was the quintessential local wedding.
Tanya, a former Yarra Glen Primary School student, and Rick, who went to Dixon’s Creek Primary School, were married at Yarra Glen’s famous National Trust pioneer farm, Gulf Station, by local celebrant, Yarra Glen Primary School principal Joe Pacquola.
“It was just wonderful,” Mr Pacquola said.
“There was a terrific turn-up of local people and most of the 10 young people in the bridal party were ex-students.”
He said it was a memorable day, with Tanya taking the next step on her life journey.
Tanya and Rick celebrated their marriage with a reception in the wedding marquee at Gulf Station and they will honeymoon in the United States later this year.
