The Yarra Ranges Council has announced that Victoria Road in Yering will be open to traffic from Thursday 6 March.
The road will close again from Wednesday 12 April and will be closed to traffic.
The area had been closed off due to road works that commenced on Wednesday 8 March from Yering heading into Lilydale and are currently expected to be completed by late April 2023.
The project has included both day and evening works and the section of road being reconstructed has been closed to through traffic and will only be accessible by local residents, businesses and any visitors who require access to properties in the area.
The council has thanked all drivers for their patience throughout.
