TWO internationally renowned artists, filmmaker Tim Burstall and composer George Dreyfus, have joined forces in a delightful collaboration that will appeal to all ages.
Sebastian’s Greatest Adventures will be performed at 3pm in The Barn at Montsalvat in Eltham on Sunday, 26 February.
Four 10-minute episodes of Tim Burstall’s classic 1963 children’s television series The Adventures of Sebastian the Fox will be accompanied by a live, seven-piece ensemble featuring George Dreyfus and conducted by his son, Jonathan.
The episodes (for those who remember) are The Swagman, The Showman, The Dolls’ House and The Animal Catcher.
This is a delightful and unique piece of entertainment that will take at least one generation back to 1963 and the beginnings of the Australian film and television industries.
