MACCLESFIELD Pony Club held its Christmas Fun Rally on 14 December.
Members participated in show jumping and Hickstead, and after lunch some of the club’s life-members judged the fancy dress competition. A number of awards were also presented throughout the day.
Laura Breen won the Joanne Legge Memorial Trophy which was donated by Bob and Lois Legge in memory of their daughter and in recognition of the help and support she gave to Macclesfield Pony Club.
The trophy is judged on the basis of genuine love and consideration for the horse at all times, always endeavouring to improve riding skills and at the same time contributing to the club unselfishly.
Tonaya Barton won the District Commissioner’s Trophy for her spontaneous help with the younger members and Annabel Weiner won the Club Best Presented award.
