The 1023E, 1025R & 2025R models of John Deere compact utility tractors available internationally between 1 November 2017 and 31 July 2024 have been recalled.

The affected models are green and yellow compact utility tractors with John Deere branding and the model number printed on the side of the tractor.

The product has been recalled because the front bellcrank in the brake system can fail, which can cause the brakes to fail.

There is a risk of death or serious injury to the user or bystanders if brakes fail while in use.

Incidents have occurred overseas resulting in serious injuries.

Consumers should stop using the tractor immediately and not use the tractor again until it has been repaired.

Visit the John Deere website to check your product identification number/serial number to see if your tractor is recalled.

John Deere will contact consumers to advise of repair availability. Consumers can contact John Deere for information about their repair schedule.
