SEVILLE’s Saddlery Shop is a one-stop equestrian shop with a wide range of products and competitive prices.
The shop, with its fibreglass horse out front, has been a fixture in Seville for nine years and is now under new management.
With more than 30 years in the horse industry, Kim Anning will continue to provide products covering all disciplines of the horse world, including dressage, jumping, eventing, pleasure riding, western and pony club.
Kim said the shop had developed a loyal following of customers who valued a friendly personalised service and an excellent range of products.
“The Saddlery Shop is an independent saddlery which has the advantage of being able to source products from most suppliers, with the full support of those suppliers,” she said.
“Riders will be pleasantly surprised by our competitive prices – we are not more expensive than the big franchise saddleries.”
Kim brings her extensive knowledge as a horse breeder and dressage competitor to the job, with 18 years spent in the Yarra Valley including as a member of the Yarra Valley Dressage Club, Wandin Park Adult Riders and the Victorian committee of the Australian Warmblood Horse Association.
“In the past my husband and I bred anglo Arabians and showed them extensively,” she said.
“Two of them have been Australian champions.”
The Saddlery Shop stocks a large range of clothing for both horse and rider with bridles, bits, halters, saddle blankets, whips, vet products, verbs and supplements, horse boots and bandages, girths, stirrups and leathers, spurs, and horse, stable and leather cleaning products.
Services also include rug and saddlery repairs and blade sharpening.
The Saddlery Shop is located at 648 Warburton Highway, Seville, and is open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with a 10am start on Wednesdays, and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays.
The store can be contacted on 5964 4633.
