TOOLANGI residents will have an opportunity to find out about a proposed new tourist venture at a community consultation afternoon next week.
Parks Victoria is facilitating the first stage of community consultation in relation to an adventure based tall-trees project in the Toolangi forest.
David Richardson of Parks Victoria said staff from Parks Victoria and the Department of Sustainability and Environment, along with representatives of the proponent, Australian Zipline Canopy Tours, would be at the Toolangi Forest Discovery Centre between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Thursday 4 August.
Mr Richardson said the project would require a small area of the Toolangi State Forest.
“We want people to just drop in, have a look and a chat about what is being proposed,” Mr Richardson said.
