POLICE want to hear from anyone who can help them identify people who have been approaching householders looking for tree cutting jobs.
Senior Constable Paul Roberts of Yarra Glen police said the men had been asking personal questions of residents which had raised suspicions.
“They are asking questions such as when they are home, or at work, and other details which you wouldn’t think were relevant,” he said. Sen Const Roberts said people should contact Healesville police on 5962 4422 if they have details such as car registration that could help them identify the people, or if they are legitimate and can alleviate any concerns.
