A HEALESVILLE Tattslotto agent has taken out top honours for excellence in customer service and sales performance two years in a row.
Sanctuary Lotto owner and manager Graeme Williams has again been recognised by Tattersalls for outstanding achievement in service and product sales.
In August last year, Mr Williams was awarded sixth place in the region for excellence in retail compliance and product challenges in his store size category.
This year he has taken out first place in the same award structure and has been rewarded with a giant chocolate hamper and a gift voucher from Myer.
Mr Williams, who took over the lotto business in December 2004, said he was delighted with the result.
“I was wrapped when I came sixth last year and to be honest I hadn’t given the whole thing another thought this year. I certainly didn’t expect to be a winner again,” he said.
Mr Williams said he was taken by surprise when a courier turned up unannounced late last month with the hamper and gift certificate.
“Its a great honour to win something two year’s in a row, and great to know I’ve taken out first place for this area,” he said.
Mr Williams, who runs the lotto agency located in Healesville Walk Shopping Centre six days a week, thanked the community for their support.
“I wouldn’t be winning these sorts of awards if it wasn’t for the loyalty and friendliness of my customers,” he said.
“I’d also like to thank my two staff members, Maeve and Mega for their hard work.”
