THERE are big changes in the automotive world at Yarra Junction with Kevin and Patricia Bailey moving on after more almost 20 years at the helm of Bailey Bros. mechanical and towing service and Ian McDuff and silent partner, Dominic Pezzimenti, taking over.
The Baileys are looking forward to the opportunity, away from the demands of a seven-day business, to explore new interests and expand their involvement with sprint cars. For Ian, a resident of the Yarra Valley for 20 odd years, moving into the automotive arena is a new experience.
“It was something which was basically prompted by my interest in ensuring a good mechanical service for Yarra Junction and the Yarra Valley,” he said.
One thing motorists can be sure of is continuity of the quality service they have had over the years.Ian said all staff members are staying on with what is now Yarra Junction Automotive Repairs and Yarra Junction Towing. While Kevin is actually retiring, Patricia will be staying on to help out, part time.
