A DISMAL batting performance from Yarra Panthers saw Warburton-Millgrove Cricket Club dismiss them for 46 in their Strachan Shield match.
C. Darwall spun his way through their batsmen to capture 5/3 off 2.4 overs, while L. Darwall started the rot taking 2/5.
In reply Warburton-Millgrove scored 130 with Scott Darwall top-scoring with 52.
J. Koole 3/10 and R. Fenrnando 4/12 were the best of the Yarra Panthers bowlers.

Launching Place United batted first and amassed 8/154 with T. Wheeler 40 and A. Hoare 37 batting well.
A. Ireland took 3/42 for Warburton Millgrove.
In reply, the young side struggled and was dismissed for 78, D. Egan 18 and R. Weiderman 16 the top scorers.
G. Abrol 3/26 and H. Wadsworth 3/18 were United’s best bowlers.

Launching Place United batted first and reached 100 with J. Wilson batting solidly for 45.
Lucas Smith 3/17, T. Lewis 3/24 and Liam Smith 2/16 all bowled tightly for Warburton-Millgrove and were assisted by superb fielding.
In reply, Warburton-Millgrove finished on 5/134 with R. McKail 31, J. Smith 34 and T. Lewis 21 all battling well.
The game was played in great spirits from both sides.
