HEALESVILLE Guides’ recent trip to Luna Park was lots of fun, but held not just for fun.
Guides Senya, Shaylise, Emily and Charlotte, with leaders Joyce Kerr and Robyn Fuller joined about 700 guides from around the state in a camp out beneath the park’s Big Dipper to raise funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Brainwave Children’s Neuroscience Centre.
Mrs Fuller said Seville Guides joined them for the excursion.
“It was tremendous fun and a great example of the many activities Healesville Guides take part in throughout the year where the girls get to do lots of challenging and fun things that they may not get the chance to do outside of Guides.”
Healesville Guides is holding a registration and information day for prospective guides and leaders at Healesville Walk from 9am to 11am on Saturday, 22 October.
