SIX Healesville teenagers were interviewed by Healesville police last week in relation to a burglary and theft at the Healesville Hotel in the early hours of 4 February.
Sgt Tony Van Gorp said the four boys and two girls had sneaked out of their respective homes where they were believed to be asleep in bed.
He urged parents to be more vigilant.
“In particular they need to check and double check when their children say they are staying at a friend’s house,” he said.
“What happens is the friend tells the same story and they end up hanging around the main street of Healesville late at night.”
