Pharmacy to help health

ATTENDING the many and varied pharmaceutical needs of the local community is a priority at Healesville Pharmacy.
Since taking over the well-established business more than three years ago, pharmacists Edith Wilson and Pearly Loh have achieved a successful balance of maintaining existing services and introducing innovative new ideas.
Edith and Pearly introduced Webster Pack Service that delivers daily medication in a pre-packaged, sealed container.
“This service is especially useful for older clients who take multiple medications. If we organise it for them, they don’t have to worry about duplicating doses,” Edith said.
The Webster Packs can be home delivered or collected from the pharmacy.
Healesville Pharmacy also offers Home Medication Reviews.
The new digital photo-processing machine allows clients to download photos, modify photos, crop, colour change and much more.
A computerised information kiosk also provides information on a wide range of health and well-being topics.
Healesville Pharmacy is proud of its range of French perfumes and the Australian-owned and made Innoxa range and will soon introduce stylish Homyped health shoes.
Ms Wilson said reading glasses were also a popular line with optional magnetic, clip-on lenses available for reading in dim light and bright sunlight. They also have a range of Glare Buster sunglasses that feature polarised lenses on each side of the lens.
A ‘baby club’ is available to parents with children under two. Upon joining they will receive a free gift pack.
The ‘baby club’ offers members discounts, special promotions and an informative newsletter.
At Healesville Pharmacy customers will find friendly, experienced staff to provide advice and assistance.
