Warburton in finals bid

Needing a win to ensure a finals berth, Warburton batted first and after a shaky start steadied, thanks to a fine knock of 47 from Lucas Smith, 34 from G. Morris, R. Ryan-Crobett 25, D. Bills 13 and A. Clader 15. Warburton finished on 185 with W. Ibrahim taking 3/18 for Healesville Red. In reply, Healesville Red are 0/14.
Under 14A
Mount Evelyn batted first and superb bowling and fielding by Warburton helped dismiss them for 99. J. Coghlan 4/12, C. Hacketl 1/7, J. Walker 1/5, A. Hill 1/9 and T. Longhurst 1/4 all bowled well. I. Reidy put in a fantastic fielding effort. In reply Warburton are 0/47 with J. Coghlan 31 not out and D. Anderl 8 not out.
Under 12A
Batting first, Warburton reached 7/94 after a partially rained out first day against Seville. J. Winter 21 and M. Bamford 5 were Warburton’s best batsmen.
