POLICE have charged a 30-year-old man with firearm-related offences after an incident at the Grand Hotel in Healesville.
The Miners Rest man was arrested in the early hours of Sunday, 8 July, after a night out at the hotel.
The man, who was in possession of a handgun, had been making threats to patrons that evening.
Police were able to locate the man outside the hotel after it closed and arrested and charged him with firearm offences, including threats to kill, and other assault-related offences.
He is currently in remand, after being refused bail, and will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 9 August.
