WARBURTON’S new town entry sign will be officially unveiled on Thursday, 1 December.
The sad sight of the dilapidated old entry sign prompted the Warburton Advancement League (WAL) to commission a new sign and the Bendigo Bank assisted with funding.
WAL president Jesse James said the timber sign was quite a substantial piece, which would do justice to the town.
Members of the public are invited to the unveiling which will take place at 2pm at the site of the old sign on the Warburton Highway.
